The service
WHAT WE DO, IN DETAIL.
A stump left in place rots slowly (10-20 years), attracts wood-boring insects, and blocks any rework. Stump grinding turns it into chips down to 15 cm below the surface. The site is then backfilled, levelled, and ready for grass, pavers, or planting.

Do you do it at the same time as the removal?
Possible same-day if the machine is needed. Often done on a separate visit to optimize trips (and cost).
Are the wood chips usable?
Excellent as mulch for flowerbeds. We'll leave a pile on-site at no cost if you want to reuse them.
What about surface roots?
For large roots extending 1-2 m from the stump, there's a surcharge. We assess on-site.
